It’s never easy to hand over your work to an agent, an editor, a reader for an ARC review, or even just a friend or family member. But I want you to know that I will handle your words with the utmost care and expertise. I will treat every word with respect and will help you understand any corrections or changes that are necessary to improve your content.
I do my editing work primarily in Microsoft Word, using the Track Changes feature, but will also edit properly formatted PDF files, and text for ebook productions.
I’m happy to edit books (print or ebook…fiction or non-fiction), magazine articles, Christian content, blog posts, website content, children’s books, advertising copy, short stories, memoirs, and even your text created or augmented by artificial intelligence (AI). But please…no offensive content, no erotica or sexual content, no excessive profanity, no racist content, no gratuitous violence, and no horror or occult content.

For my personal reading, I mostly love Christian literature, drama, mystery, romance, series books, trilogies, how-to, self-help, food and diet books, gardening, exercise, and motivational books.
Always working to improve and stay current in my field of work, I stay up to date by studying reference materials related to editing, am a member of Distributed Proofreaders, work as a volunteer proofreader for Project Gutenberg, and hold a certificate of professional proficiency in “High-Level Proofreading and Copyediting.”
And yes, I am always happy to work with new and/or self-published writers.
